  • Validation: An Approach to Alzheimer's and Dementia Patients

1 or 2 day workshop, CEUs available

This workshop should be attended by administrators, caregivers, chaplains, clergy, CNAs, doctors, nurses, social workers, families, and friends. The benefits of validation therapy for the disoriented adult include: stress reduction, enhanced dignity, increased well-being, less physical and chemical restraint, and improved relations with family and caregivers.
